Amazon India Fashion Week A/W 2017: Day 3

Day 3 was the one I was looking forward to the most. With amazing designers lined up to showcase their works, I think this was the best day of this season.

[Ka][Sha] began the day by displaying fun colours, bold prints and a lot of tassels. The overall vibe of the show was playful and apt for the seson.

Up next was the Suthol show which had designers ‘Anju Modi’ and ‘Shivan and Naresh’ show casing their designs. Taking inspiration from ‘Neelambara’ or the ‘blue midnight sky’, Ivory, Gold, Blues , shades of purple made up the palette for the designer. The designer label collaborated with Needle Lust’ to get the perfectly amalgamated shoes for the show.

The delhi based designer duo– Shivan and Narresh are one of my personal favorites. This time they took inspiration from the works of Egon Schiele. I am sure people shopping for exotic vacations or even destination weddings will be making a visit to the designer duo for their requirements. Golds, jewels, cut-outs , capes with pattern play were a few highlights from their collection.

Up next was the show by Namrata Joshipura which was presented in collaboration with Maybelline New York. Athleisure to red carpet outfits, Namrata has us all covered. Fringes, blacks and sequins made the garments look luxurious. The show was closed by the brand ambassador of Maybelline New York, Alia Bhatt. She wore a stunning emerald green jumpsuit.

The day was closed by the collection of Schulen Fernandes for Wendell Rodricks. This collection was all about structures and volumes with fabrics like organza and silk. Red was seen to be the major colour of the palette for this collection.
