Day 2 at the Amazon India Fashion Week started with the Samant Chauhan show at the National Rail Museum. The designer showcased major use of ‘Muga silk’ in his Golden Threads of Assam collection.
The range included coats, tunics and tapered pants for both men and women.
Besides these, beautifully embroidered off-shoulder and asymmetrical dresses were also spotted in the collection.
More designers like Pankaj and Nidhi, Rina Dhaka, Huemn, Vineet Bahl, etc also showcased their designs.
Another major show that took place on the same day was by the ace designer duo- Hemant and Nandita. The duo is known for delivering what the client wants with every collection of theirs. Major print play ( mostly florals) , corsets, ruffles- this collection had it all! Blending in with the playful nature of the season, this collection surely did justice to the client expectations.
Pero closed day 2 with their ‘travel themed’ Pero Tribe collection. Being one of my favorite brand, Pero is always looked forward for their collection. The collection incorporated of elements of China and Latin America. The collection channeled the bohemian vibe perfectly.
