It is that time of the year when a lot of people join college for the first time and others get back to college. As fun as college life sounds, it is on everyone’s list to look good and well put together throughout the day in college !
As important it is to have fun, it is also important to take care of your skin since you will be out of your house and running errands all throughout the day. I know the amount of effort it takes to wake up early in the morning and go through an elaborate skincare and beauty regime! Been There, Done That! Hence, I have put together minimal products that will work well for your skin as well as make you look put together throughout the day! After all, no one wants a full face of make up during college hours! Hence, minimalism is the key!
- Moisturiser– It is no brainer that everyone needs to keep their skin hydrated all throughout the day. Do not skip this step at all. For healthier looking skin, apply a good moisturiser onto your body atleast twice a day.
2,Sunscreen– This is one of the most important steps. Applying sunscreen is as important as eating food. Not only does it help your skin from tanning and sun burns, it also reduces the chances of ageing and white spots. Apply sunscreen about 15-20mins before you step out and reapply it after every 4 hours.
3.Lip Balm– Being the most sensitive parts of your body, lips need proper hydration just like your skin. Hence, to avoid chapped and dry lips, make sure to sue a good lip balm that can keep your lips soft and hydrated all day long.
4.Nude Lipstick– I am sure most of you would be thinking like me and would not want to sport bright lip shades in college. I always opt for nude lipsticks or crayons for an everyday option. My current favourtie is the ‘Faces Go Chic lipstick in the shade Hazelnut‘ .
5.Mascara– For the days I can barely keep my eyes open after a series of snoozed alarms, the best trick for me is to use a mascara that instantly makes me look woken up. I generally opt for a non waterproof mascara because I am surely aware of the hassle of removing a waterproof mascara!
6.Kajal– I generally opt for a kajal pencil for everyday use. I feel it makes one look put together and presentable without much effort.
7.Compact Powder– In cities like Delhi where the weather is mostly hot and humid, a good compact powder comes handy in keeping away from a sweaty and blochy face.
I hope these products help you get through your college days without much of a hassle. 😀
