Ruffles and flares have been all over. Be it on the shoulder, necklines, hem or sleeve, every third garment is seen having some or the other similar detail.
A lot of times people who have a formal dress code at their workplace complain of not finding many options besides the classic white shirt and trousers combination.
I was at Shoppers Stop the other day and I found this really cool looking shirt which had ruffles detail at the sleeve with a minimal white on blue print. On looking closely, the fabric felt really comfortable and within a few minutes I knew this could be a perfect replacement to the boring solid coloured shirt to wear to office. Since I am currently still in my final year of college, I technically do not need to hoard onto to office wear but I actually knew I could style this shirt in a number of ways !
For this post, I have paired this shirt with a pair of black jeggings and a semi formal jacket/ blazer that I bought with the shirt from Shoppers Stop itself.
For accessories, I decided to wear a velvet choker which was huge in width. Generally it is advised to wear chokers with broader necklines but I really liked how this look turned out! 😀
